The Plugable USB3-HUB3ME is an easy way to gain wired gigabit Ethernet network speeds for faster HD video streaming, gaming, web browsing, network storage and more. In addition, provides the ability to connect up to three USB devices to a single port on any capable computer via included USB 3.0 or USB C cable for greatest compatibility with many host systems.

Attractive black aluminum in a compact design with one green LED for diagnosing USB connectivity and a set of LEDs on the Ethernet port for link confirmation and activity. Add wired gigabit Ethernet to MacBooks, Microsoft Surface Pro series, Dell XPS, Chromebooks, Ultrabooks, or notebooks with no Ethernet connection, or replacing or upgrading network adapters in desktop PCs.

Compatibility

Uses Realtek RTL8153 and VIA VL817 chipsets for fast network speeds and maximum compatibility with almost all USB 3.0 hosts. Supports Microsoft Windows 11, 10 (RT not supported) through 7, macOS 10.6 and later, Chrome OS, and Linux kernels 3.9+. Full compatibility with USB C, 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 hosts and devices. Not compatible with Android, Tivo, Nintendo Switch, or other non-PC/Mac platforms.

Supports 4K Jumbo Frames, IPv4/IPv6 checksum offload engine, crossover detection and auto-correction, TCP large send offload and IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet. Not recommended for use with older Texas Instruments, Fresco Logic, Etron, or Wistron USB 3.0 host controllers. Ethernet may require additional installation.

Microsoft signed 32/64-bit drivers for Windows 11, 10, 8/8.1, and 7, macOS 10.6 and later, Linux kernels 3.9 and later include driver.
