The "Protected" indicator light turns green to let you know your equipment is secure while the "Not-Grounded" indicator warns you when your outlet is not properly grounded.
EASY TO SET UP AND USE You can choose to install the USB Wall Mount Surge Protector over your AC outlet's wall plate and secure with the included mounting screw, or plug the surge protector directly into the outlet without using the screw. Use the USB cables that came with your devices to charge up to two mobile devices at once.
NOTE: The USB ports are intended solely for charging devices. They cannot be used as a USB hub and do not transmit data.
