Flexible power delivery enables supporting devices with the: 15.4 Watts or PoE (IEEE 802.3af) 30 Watts of PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) 60 Watts of PoE++ (IEEE802.3bt) Power over Multi-Gigabit networks To enable modern networks of all speeds, the AT-7101GHTm can remotely power high-performance devices across Multi-Gigabit networks running at 1/2.5/5Gbps, as well as older networks running at 100Mbps. The combination of Multi-Gigabit network performance, and power delivery available up to 60 Watts, make the AT-7101GHTm one of the most flexible and capable PoE injectors available. Powered Device (PD) detection The AT-7101GHTm injector automatically detects if the PD supports one of the PoE standards (IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, or 802.3bt), and will then connect and power that device. If the injector detects that the connected device does not support one of the PoE standards, then it will not provide power to the device to avoid potential damage. Main applications Cost savings can be achieved using the AT-7101GHTm injector for remotely powering VoIP phones, IP cameras, wireless access points, and other types of PDs. There is no need for additional power cabling as the injector feeds power to the equipment through the same cable used for data. Extend the distance from the network switch to the PD by up to 100 meters, which enables powering devices in hard-to-reach locations - as the AT-7101GHTm injector can be installed anywhere between the switch and the PD. The AT-7101GHTm injector protects your network infrastructure investment, as Multi-Gigabit support means there is no need to replace existing legacy Cat5e/Cat6 building cables when connecting and powering PoE enabled devices. For resilience, connecting the AT-7101GHTm injector to a UPS backed-up power supply protects the PD from any power outages.
